Noosa Olympic Triathlon, Australia

Kerry placed 3rd in her age group. In Kerry's words "I was pretty excited myself going into the race because I had once again used a programme by Darren Brewer. This proved to help me enormously and I improved my time by a whopping 4 minutes. Thanks Darren"

Henley 70.3 Ironman Triathlon, United Kingdom

Vicky put in a solid race and only her second time running 21km. Kind of a last minute entry to the race Vicky just wanted to give it a go and this is testament to her attitude. We learnt that we need to focus on some skills through winter backed with more good training. well done

Mark put in a pretty good performance at todays race, well done mate "I learnt a lot about myself today. In 23 months I've given up 40 fags a day fried breakfasts. Chocolate/Shite food and drinking most nights. I've realized that I can push myself through the dark periods in a race. Your training and advice has been amazing and I really couldn't have done this without your help and guidance so many thanks Darren"

Estonian Road Championships

Runner up in the Apres Velo competiton Virgo Neeme had two months training coming his way and decided to put it to use in final stages of his preparation for the Estonian Road Championships held in September. We worked together aiming to focus on pure speed, tactics and motivation. despite an injury early in the year Virgo came a highly credible 7th place in his age group. We are now aiming to work together in the future. Great work Virgo

Royal Windsor Triathlon, United Kingdom

Another good turn out at the Prestigious Royal Windsor Triathlon. Race reports made for some interesting reading. Mark D put in a solid performace despite being sick, He rode 2 minutes quicker over the 40km and held himself together for the run. Stewart B who has recently signed up improved on last year without out any taper for the race, so this is a promising start. Vicky D, Man of the match with a 4th in her sprint race and by her report could have and should have gone quicker. After a steady bike she chased down all but 3 so just missed a podium. Great effort to all

Wasing Cross Country Southern Champs (MTB)

I am a firm believer in always stepping up a level and seeing exactly what your level is. Most are too scared to do this but Mark B decided early this year to do exactly that. After a few local races the regionals were calling. Mark produced a strong individual performance and stuck it out against a very strong open field. Well done

Melbourne Ironman Results!

Some great performances from two of my athletes at Melbourne this weekend, James achieved his goal of completing his first Ironman and Kerry exceeding her expectations with a great marathon, running herself into second place in her age group, She decided not to take her Hawaii spot to concentrate on short course racing. My race report can be found on www.tri247.com

Canberra 70.3

Just back from the 70.3 in Canberra supporting a couple of the guys and the weather was truly awful! The good news is that James posted a PB but Dom had wetsuit issues, punctured twice but finished strongly. Both athletes will be heading to Melbourne for their debut at the Ironman distance.
